7 mile circular walk from Delamere Café inc Old Pale

The route will takes us up along up the "Cheshire Matterhorn" (or one of them) of Old Pale and through picturesque forest and past the barely visible Eddisbury Hillfort. Just over 7 miles and 230m of ascent.

The intention is to offer car shares from The Metropolitan from 9:30am. I can offer three seats but if you have a vehicle which can offer more or would like a lift, post below.

For some reason the trains from Manchester don't look great.

We'll set off from outside the Delamere Café (CW8 2JD) at 10:30am promptly. I'll bring a South Manchester Social sign, so look out for that.

Terrain will be fine with a dog, if they can manage the distance, but please keep them on a lead at all times.

I've done these trails before but about 6 years ago. Backtracking may be involved. It'll be an adventure! I am not a professional guide. I'm just going for a walk and wondered if anyone would like to join me.
