Summer Informal: Heaton Park Picnic

After a successful picnic last year, we are delighted to once again be hosting an informal picnic in Heaton Park (the largest municipal park in Europe!). Bring your own food, drink, blanket, games etc.

We will be on the lawn directly in front Heaton Hall from noon (as seen on the event photo). We will retreat to the colonnade if it is wet. Any problems give Guy a call. Alternatively, message the organiser for contact details if concerned.

13:00 There will be a guest talk by David Blood, chair of Friends of Heaton Hall, describing the buildings exterior architecture as well as its historical significance. Following this we will have more games etc. Last year we also managed a trip on the historic Tramway and hope to do so again this year.
