From Hype to Help & Everything In Between: Embedding AI into Real World Work- Place Benefit, by Robert Fawcett – Executive Technology Leader | Human CTO | Strategic Transformation Partner
Abstract
AI isn’t failing because the tech isn’t ready. It’s failing because we keep forgetting the people it’s meant to help.
This talk is a straight-talking guide to getting real-world value from AI—without the jargon, the dashboards, or the endless pilots that never land. It’s built around a simple truth: if the humans using it don’t trust it, understand it, or feel the benefit, it doesn’t matter how smart it is.
You’ll leave with a practical mindset shift, a ridiculously simple adoption model, and a few sharp stories where AI went from abstract idea to real-world impact—by focusing on what people actually needed.
Because the real advantage isn’t the AI.
It’s the people who know how to make it count.
