AI at Work: How Are We Actually Adopting It?

AI tools are appearing everywhere, but introducing them into a company is about much more than simply giving everyone access to ChatGPT or Copilot.

For this meetup, we’re going to have an open discussion about how organisations are approaching AI adoption in practice.

We’ll start by talking about how Umbraco HQ is approaching the onboarding and use of AI internally. Including some of the thinking around tools, experimentation, opportunities and the challenges that come with introducing AI into everyday work.

Then we want to open the conversation up to the room.

How are other companies approaching AI? Are you actively encouraging people to use it, still experimenting, or putting policies and guardrails in place first? What tools are people actually using? What’s working well, and what are you still unsure about?

Rather than a traditional presentation, this will be an informal discussion where we can compare experiences, ideas and approaches from across the Umbraco community.

Whether your company has a fully fledged AI strategy, a few enthusiastic early adopters, or you’re still working out where to begin, come along and join the conversation.

As always, there'll be plenty of time before and after the discussion to network with fellow Umbraco developers, designers, editors and digital professionals over pizza and drinks.

Whether you're completely new to Umbraco or a long-time community member, everyone is welcome.
