A linear walk from Newhey to Littleborough following mostly good paths, although some may be muddy if the weather is wet. We will visit Nicholas Pike and Town Hill along with the visitor centre at Hollingworth Lake (for potential tea and cake!!) This walk does involve crossing a high motorway bridge over the M62.

Meet Point: On the Metrolink platform at Victoria Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the tram, or at the Walk Start at Newhey station.

Transport to Walk Start: 10:16 tram from Manchester Victtoria to Newhey

Suggested Ticket: Greater Manchester Daysaver TM (Train and Metro) - £10.10 (buying single tickets may be cheaper)

Walk Start: Newhey Metrolink at 11:00

Waypoints: Ogdon Reservoir, Whittaker Moor, Hollingworth Lake
Return Services: x:03 & x.25

Extra: Please use the toilet at the station. No toilets at walk start. No toilets en route until Hollingworth visitor centre 3/4 way into the route. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)
