This is an evening walk taking in the parks and countryside corridors around Stockport.
Some of the paths may be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Stockport railway station - the Stockport meet point will be outside the main ticket office

Transport to Walk Start: 18:10, 18:13, 18:15 to Stockport

Suggested Ticket: Day Return £8.10

Walk Start: Stockport Railway Station at 18:30

Waypoints: Stockport Interchange, Heaton Norris Park, Transpennine Trail, Brinnington Tunnel, Pear Mill, Woodbank Park, Vernon Park, Stockport

Return Services: Trains to Manchester every 5-10 minutes

Extra: Please use the toilet on the train. There are toilets at Stockport station. No toilets en-route. Optional drinks at the end of the walk.
Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)
