This linear walk from Helsby to Frodsham takes in Helsby Hill and Frodsham war memorial, both of which command fantastic views of the Mersey Estuary and on clear day Snowdon.
The walks follows lots of good paths, but there is a section that could be muddy if weather has been bad as parts go through farmland, so appropriate footwear must be worn.
There are a couple of hard ascents with one being very steep but not very long.so a good level of fitness is needed.
Meet Point: In the waiting area above platform 13/14, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Helsby Station.
