Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Manchester Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Hazel Grove Railway Station. Drivers can park at Stockport and meet us on the train at 10:33

Transport to Walk Start: 10:20 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Hazel Grove Return £7.40

Walk Start: Haze Grove Railway Station at 10:45

Return Services: From Stockport - trains every few minutes

Extra: No toilets at walk start. Toilets en-route at Bramhall Park, where yu can purchase lunch from the cafe or eat your own.. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)

A lovely walk route, following parts of the Fred Perry Way and GM Ringway trails.

The walk takes us through the greenbelt land in some of the outlyign villages and suburbs of the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport.

The route is mainly on good paths, although it can be slightly uneven and muddy in parts.

Please be aware that we will have to cross over two stiles and land with horses in them and also, we will have to cross over a railway bridge at the beginning of the walk in Hazel Grove.

There are several bail out options to cut the journey short as the route goes via roads with bus stops back to Stockport
