This is a a moderate walk (with strenuous parts).
We enjoy some grassy, gently undulating paths from Edale, out to Upper Booth then back along the Pennine way to the Vale of Edale. From here we begin to climb - up Backtor Nook and ascending Lose Hill (or Wards Piece) which is 476m. Our descent is fairly steepish at first but levels out to bring us into Hope. There we can take refreshments or go straight for a train.
Toilets as we leave Edale station, then none en route.
Mainly crossing through fields via gates but there are a few stiles also.
