It’s time to rustle through the autumn leaves and settle into nature in the heart of Cheshire.

This walk takes us along country lanes, wooded paths, lakeside byways, brooks and occasionally crosses main roads. It is flat, with a handful of stiles.

November is prime time for winter migrants. We may see (amongst others): Teal, Mandarin Duck, Grebes, Herons, Egrets, Lapwings, Redwings, Fieldfares, Great Spotted Woodpeckers & Buzzards.

Note: it is likely to be very muddy, so boots are strongly advised. Sections might well be flooded, but can be avoided.
