What we’re about
Manchester Film Fans is a friendly and welcoming group where we watch films at a variety of places, usually Odeon Great Northern and HOME. We enjoy anything from big screen blockbusters to independent productions.
We are a very social group of people and, following the film, we stay around for a chat, food and a drink in the bar area at HOME. New members are always welcome.

Upcoming events (1)
See all- Islands (meet 3.30 for 3.45) @ HOME + social @ House of SocialHome, Manchester
This weekend, we'll meet up to see Islands. We'll meet from 3.30(ish) for the 3.45 screening, meeting on the ground floor of HOME (between the ticket office and the lifts).
This is due to be in the smallest screen at HOME so we recommend booking as soon as you can.
Following the film, we'll go for a drink at House of Social. This is a new venue which has just opened, down the street from HOME.
Feel free just to come along for the social if you'd like to catch up.
Please ask if you have any questions.

Between drinking sessions and one-night stands, washed-up tennis pro Tom clings to a job coaching holidaymakers at a hotel in Fuerteventura. When an English couple arrive, their presence sets off a chain of events that leads to a mysterious disappearance.
Islands is a contemporary, intelligent thriller with noirish undertones and stylistic echoes of Alfred Hitchcock and Patricia Highsmith, stunningly shot against the sun-drenched volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands.
