We will be taking part in a live Hack day broadcast run between the Virtual JUG, and the Atlanta Java User Group, live from Atlanta! To participate online, you can view at http://virtualjug.com/#live

The Hackday will run 10am - 4.00pm in Atlanta which is 3pm to 9pm in the UK.

The hack day is part of the global Adopt OpenJDK program getting ready for the release of Java SE 9. This is part of the ongoing global adoption and outreach effort.

The sessions will cover

• The new modules system in Java 9,

• The JLink tool which allows you to create Java images with your application

• How to migrate to the new Java 9 modular system with an older application. Bring your project and run it on Java 9 EA with fellow JUG members!
