To kick off the day we have special keynote organised from Jim Gough. Jim is a Java Champion and joins us to help celebrate Java’s 30th Birthday with his talk “30 Years of Java”. We'll be taken on a nostalgic journey through 30 years of Java, from its 1995 debut to today’s cutting-edge features. We’ll explore key milestones, including lambdas, records, and more, with code examples, fun historical highlights, and a touch of humour. Whether you're a Java veteran or newcomer, this talk will give you a fresh perspective on Java’s evolution and its future.
