MandarinFriends is a large group that holds meetings in Los Angeles and Orange County. We encourage the learning of Mandarin among non-native speakers and look for making friends with native speakers.
Any level of English or Mandarin is accepted, but we are very serious about learning Mandarin.

The Mission
Our mission is to create an atmosphere so members can immerse in spoken Mandarin Chinese outside of China or Taiwan. The meetups are fun for networking and friendship and you can language exchange (English-Chinese-other?).
The Members
Our members are united by their ability to speak Mandarin Chinese. That gives the rest of us an opportunity to learn about their culture and language. We rejoice in the non-heritage Mandarin speakers and turn a blind-eye to political borders. Members feel responsible to walk away with new phrases learned at the meetings.
