Amy's Victory Dance – Film Screening and Q&A on Diabetes

Author, fitness expert, and choreographer Amy Jordan will present her feature film Amy’s Victory Dance, which highlights her triumphs over traumas. Amy’s had diabetes since the age of 4, which was compounded by an eating disorder as a young adult. Then, at the age of 39, she was hit by a bus while crossing the street, pinned under the tire and her right leg was crushed, and nearly amputated. This film traces the story of her victory. Following the film, Dr. Paul Skorma from Mount Sinai New York–Concierge Care will provide a Q&A on diabetes.
