What we’re about
What we do: Small group discussions (8-12 people) exploring philosophy of intimacy, relationships, and meaning. We read short texts—poetry, philosophy, psychology—and talk about how ideas apply to how we actually live today.
Sunday evenings, 8-10pm. Lower Manhattan locations (café first few events, possibly moving to private space as group solidifies).
Format:
Reading assigned Friday
45 min facilitated discussion of the text
45 min open conversation
Optional continuation for those who want to keep talking
Who comes:
Professionals in their late 20s-50s. Thoughtful people tired of surface-level conversation. Solo or partnered, all genders and orientations welcome. Women and couples especially encouraged—we're building a balanced group.
Not for you if: You want a dating event, want to dominate the discussion with your lectures, or don't plan to do the reading.
First event: Sunday 10/12/2025, 8PM Sharp, Caffe Reggio @ 119 MacDougal Street, New York, NY.
Reading will be sent to confirmed RSVPs on Friday.
