When Does Life Begin? (A Poblacion Hidden Food Gems Tour)

When does life begin? How do we know we're living fully? Do you want to talk about these questions while hopping from one great restaurant to another - in Poblacion? If so, you'll enjoy this event.

During our last Meetup (the Intramuros Walking Tour), we had a great time finding an unexpected museum (the Limtuaco Disterlleria, which is a must go, by the way!) and found ourselves spontaneously talking about life and our personal journeys over the most eclectic tasting shots of liquor from the first Chinese family to have sold liquor in the Philippines. We ended that time with the question, "When does life begin?" But we decided to save that question for our next meetup.

So, now it's time to dig into that question, but - in Poblacion, because it's a world of its own. Everyone thinks of Poblacion as a "seedy" place. But there's so much more to it - great Korean food (and a bunch of Koreans living there), great niche restaurants you'll never imagine, great wine bars, and even a great jiu-jitsu studio 10 minutes walk away. It also has history, by the way.

So, join us for another spontaneous Manila Explorations adventure. Where we'll go from one hidden Poblacion gem to another. This can include some of the best Korean BBQ you can find (Korean owned with mostly Korean customers), a small Mexican theme spot, and whatever else we happen to stumble upon.
