Manila Mini Maker Faire

Details

Calling all Makers!

The Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth is here in the Philippines! The Manila Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly, festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. Manila Mini Maker Faire will showcase the amazing work of all kinds and ages of makers
– anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments to everyone.

The Mind Museum, together with MAKE and Thud Rumble Asia, would like to invite you and your group to join us in this celebration of making and tinkering on June 10-11, 2017 to be held at The Mind Museum, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. We also want to extend the invitation to your members, affiliates, friends, and families for them to be able to meet makers and tinkerers from different parts of the country.

You may join as any one or more of the following:

-Maker Exhibit: an all-weekend exhibit to demo your group’s projects
-Performer: a scheduled performance, usually on a stage
-Presenter/Workshop Facilitators: a scheduled 10 to 15-minute presentation, usually on stage or a 1 to 1.5-hour workshop session.

Application is free of charge so you may bring as many projects as you want. To encourage interactivity, we will not allow on-site selling in the booth but you may share your contact information in case some guests would like to buy your projects. Selling will be limited only to food concessionaires.

Manila Mini Maker Faire is open to all makers, tinkerers, crafters and artists. Individuals, maker groups, organizations and schools are welcome to join this show-and-tell of science, technology, arts
and crafts. Some topics we’re looking for, but not limited to, are:
