Eastwood Latino Spanish Conversation Club

Starting Jan. 9, 2026, at 5pm, the Eastwood Spanish Conversation Club will begin meeting every week on the 3rd floor of City Walk 2 at CCF. This is a free club for people who have already completed at least 1 year of Spanish study. Because this is a conversation club, not a Spanish language class, it is important for people to be able to converse at least at a basic level. The Spanish being used will focus on communication with Latinos from South America and the Caribbean. This is very different from Castilian Spanish refers to the Spanish language as spoken in Spain, particularly the standard form from Northern/Central Spain. Instead, we will be speaking and learning the accent of Latinos. This is particularly helpful for BPO workers whose clients are Latinos, not from Spain. The club will meet weekly from 5-6:30 pm.
