Meet the Panelists:
Michelle Ragasa is a seasoned Senior System Administrator with a strong track record of progressive technical roles, consistently expanding expertise through hands-on experience and continuous learning. Known for effectively managing complex IT infrastructure, she thrives in dynamic environments where adaptability and problem-solving are key. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Michelle is a sports fanatic, planning most trips around key sporting events, and spends most of her life outside of work maintaining a household of 5.
Ramneet Mavi is a visionary IT leader with over 20 years of industry experience, including 13 years in transformative leadership across the insurance and telecommunications sectors. As Director of Enterprise Solutions at Wawanesa Insurance, she leads strategic, multimillion-dollar technology initiatives and drives long-term digital innovation. Ramneet holds a Bachelor of Technology with Honors in Computer Science and Engineering from India, a Project Management certification from NAIT, and has completed executive education in leadership and strategy from the Asper School of Business. She has successfully delivered award-winning programs at both Wawanesa and TELUS and is known for building high-performing teams that create lasting impact. Ramneet is also a passionate mentor and a strong advocate for empowering the next generation of women in technology.
Dr. Yelena Kropivnitskaya is the VP, Advanced Analytics at Wawanesa Insurance, leading the development and execution of the company’s Data & Analytics Strategy. She drives the adoption of advanced analytics across the enterprise, embedding predictive models into business processes to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Born and raised in Kazakhstan and now based in Winnipeg, Yelena is passionate about responsible AI, education, and talent development. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, art, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
