New Warrior Training Adventure Homecoming Celebration

Houston Homecoming — Welcoming Our New Brothers
On Thursday evening, we gather in Houston to welcome home the new brothers returning from this weekend’s New Warrior Training Adventure.
Homecoming is a chance for new brothers to reconnect after the weekend and for family, friends, and members of the community to gather around them. There is something deeply human about being received when we return: someone notices we have been away, is curious about where we have been, and makes room for whatever we may be carrying.
If you have completed an NWTA yourself, Homecoming can also be an opportunity to remember something of your own journey—the fire you carried home and what you imagined might be possible. Perhaps welcoming these men home helps each of us tend an ember of our own.
New Brothers: Please arrive at 6:30 PM
Community, family & friends: 7:00 PM
The Council on Recovery
303 Jackson Hill St.
Houston, TX 77007
Children, partners, family members, friends, and members of the broader community are welcome.
Come help us fill the room and welcome these men home.
