Welcome Home Ceremony
The Mankind Project Portland is hosting a Welcome Home Ceremony for local men who attended the recent New Warrior Training Adventure.
This is event is open to all, and is especially good for men on our mailing list who are curious about men’s work, as you can hear directly from men who are fresh off the weekend, and hear from their families and friends.
It’s a powerful evening of honoring and celebration, and is the ceremonial conclusion of their hero’s journey.
The New Warrior Training Adventure is essentially a hero’s journey for each man who participates.
We come together as a community to celebrate these men, who have chosen to step into their fear, own what’s true about themselves, and develop a new mission in alignment with the kind of world they wish to see.
This event is a Potluck, so bring some food to share. Everyone is welcome. In our circles there are no strangers.
