In this SCetch Camp session, we’ll turn a simple tote bag into something personal, handmade, and completely yours.
We’ll work with acrylic paint on textile and explore how to create a design that works well on fabric. You can make something playful, minimal, bold, cute, abstract, or completely chaotic. The main goal is to experiment and create a tote bag you’ll actually want to use.
We’ll talk about composition, colour choices, simple motifs, and how to make your design readable on fabric. Then everyone will create their own painted tote bag.
You’ll learn:- how to paint on textile with acrylic paint
- how to plan a simple design for a tote bag
- how to use colour and contrast on fabric
- how to make your artwork practical and wearable
No previous experience is needed. This session is beginner-friendly and made for trying things out without pressure.
Materials are provided, including the tote bag. You are also welcome to bring your own ideas, sketches, or inspiration pictures.
