Join a small group of new and old friends for a monthly mantra meditation gathering at my home in Washington, VT (on the border of Chelsea and Corinth). Mantra meditation, one of the central activities of bhakti yoga, is an ancient practice from the Vedic scriptures that has been handed down in a long line of spiritual teachers. It has helped me immensely in my life, and I hope to share it in the same spirit of love that it's been given to me.
Mantra meditation can be practiced in many forms, including japa (a sitting or walking meditation), Gauranga breathing and kirtan, a singing meditation. We will take time to practice each form together, share a delicious vegetarian/vegan meal and finish by contemplating some wisdom from the Vedic scriptures and my spiritual teacher. Bhakti yoga is a spiritual science that speaks to the essence of truth in all religions.
No experience necessary - all ages and abilities are welcome! Feel free to bring an instrument to join in. You are welcome to bring a vegan dish to share if you'd like, but it's not expected.
