What we’re about

I'm Mike A. Pratt, and I make boardgames (MAP Boardgames, get it?).
Get together with me and friends to play boardgames in Tempe. We play classic games such as Settlers of Catan and Code Names, new games such as Spirit Island and Wingspan, and even playtest totally new games.

Boardgame Night

This is a meet up to play boardgames. The intention is for people to be able to play games without having to bring their own group. You show up, and I will make sure you get into a game, I’ll even teach it to you.

I have a sizable game library and am constantly getting new games often from Kickstarter. I am a boardgame designer, I make games, so playtesting can happen. You can bring your own games if you want.

What you need to know:

This is at my home, plenty of on-street parking.

I have usually between 2-8 players, who do not RSVP on Meetup, who come to this.

Kid-friendly. I have computers and games suitable for children 3-13.

I have very friendly cats. If you are allergic, don't rub them in your eyes.

Snacks and food encouraged but not provided. Please bring a bag of something to share.

Alcohol permitted but not provided.
