Shinsei Shotokan Karate – Free Beginner Class (Ages 14+)
Details
Starts Monday, January 6, 2026 | 6:00–7:00 pm Weekly on Mondays · [Your location / neighborhood]
Looking for a way to get stronger, calmer, and more confident in 2026—together as a family or on your own?
Join our new beginner cohort in traditional Japanese Shotokan karate the way it was meant to be practiced: serious, practical, and life-changing—without the McDojo gimmicks, belts-for-cash, or ego-driven sparring.
This is Shinsei (“new life / rebirth”) Shotokan:
- Real self-defense that works against bigger, stronger, or multiple attackers
- Whole-body power built on nine traditional methods of generating force (you’ll feel the difference the first night)
- Mental toughness and emotional regulation that carry over into work, school, and home
- Respect, courtesy, and cultural depth rooted in Japan and Okinawa
- A supportive, multi-generational group—parents training next to teens, adults next to high-schoolers
Perfect for:
- Families who want to train side-by-side
- Teens (14+) looking for focus and real confidence
- Adults who want fitness that actually means something
- Anyone curious about authentic martial arts but worried about “fighting” or getting hurt
Beginners: No sparring, no contact games, no pressure. We start with fundamentals—how to stand, move, and generate real power safely. You’ll finish the first class standing taller, breathing deeper, and already understanding why Shotokan has transformed millions of lives for over a century.
There is no tuition, no contracts, no hidden fees—just your commitment to show up and give honest effort. We’re a community dojo, not a business.
Uniforms (gi) are optional at first; wear comfortable workout clothes and come ready to move.
Message me or comment below to reserve your spot—space is limited so we can give everyone proper attention. First class: Monday, January 6 at 6 pm.
See you on the dojo floor—let’s make 2026 the year you discover what you’re truly capable of.
