Get up to speed with OpenStreetMap

• What we'll do
Have you heard about OpenStreetMap (OSM) but aren't really sure what it's all about?

We'll be covering the basics, from what it's for to who uses to how you can contribute and how you can ultimately use the data. When you leave, you should feel comfortable with using OSM as a shared data store for geospatial info.

We'll be starting small, but the more comfortable everyone feels, the bigger we'll go.

• What to bring
A laptop and a willingness to learn. Creating an account at https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/new would be helpful if you don't already have one!

• Important to know
We're still working on a location, we'll update this Meetup when we have a confirmed spot. But we wanted to go ahead and get calendars marked!
