International Humanitarian Mapathon 2024 - Day 3!

MaptimeLA is partnering with folks from around the world to host the 2024 International Humanitarian Mapathon!

Across 3 days, April 23-25, we'll be learning about OpenStreetMap, how to contribute to global humanitarian mapping efforts, and how to make your own maps using global data. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you have mapping experience or not. Just bring your laptop and we'll get you mapping right away!

What’s happening for Day 3? We'll be connecting with fellow mappers from Los Angeles, the Philippines, Japan, Hawaii, and Mexico to share our work and learn from each other. The panel of judges from the UN Smart Maps Group giving awards to their favorite maps submitted from Day 2. Participants on Day 3 will also be able to cast their vote for a special People’s Choice Award!

  We'll be participating in the UN Crisis Map Challenge and we'll be using the dataset provided by the UN's Smart Maps Group to teach you how to communicate data using maps. 📣 Click here to RSVP via Meetup!
