MaptimeLA is partnering with folks from around the world to host the 2025 International Humanitarian Mapathon!
Hey LA!
Ever wanted to map of your adventures? or to tell a story? What about using it for humanitarian efforts and community organizing?
Share that map with your friends and family telling them what you've been up to for 2 hours on a Wednesday night!
Then submit that map to the Crisis Map Challenge portion of the Humanitarian Mapathon by April 28.

Come by for a hands-on, beginner-friendly crash course workshop on making a map with Felt, an online mapping tool "Built for Anyone to make a Beautiful Map in Minutes".
They've been making some amazing tools to help you connect with QGIS, everyone's favorite Free and Open Source Geographic Information System! For example: this plugin that brings your data from QGIS into Felt.
Since it's gonna be Wednesday, join us after for #geobeers next door at Traxx (inside Union Station).

Metro HQ @ 1 Gateway Plaza
Exit the East end of Union Station where the Patsaourus Bus Plaza is and turn left to get to the Metro building. Take the escalators up to the 3rd floor and let the security guard know you're there for the Maptime meetup.
