July Meetup with Mapillary!

UPDATE 7/19:

Please download the Mapillary app (iOS and Android) and, if you're interested, the LG360 app (iOS only) before the Meetup. That way, we can hit the ground running!

We have a special guest this month: Chris Beddow from Mapillary (https://www.mapillary.com/) will be here to tell us all about crowdsourcing street-level photos and extracting data from them! The evening will include a short (approximately half-hour) mapathon on foot, after which Chris will show us how to upload our images and use them for OpenStreetMap editing; he'll also go over various Mapillary tools like the API and integrations with Mapbox, ArcGIS and QGIS.

If you'd like to start exploring Mapillary before the Meetup and would like to do it on wheels, you can request a mobile phone mount (for car or bike!) here:

Chris will be sending me (Liz) some mounts before the Meetup, too, so if you'd like to pick one up locally, just drop me a line.
