Project night!
Details
For September MapTime let's have a Project Night! We won't have a structured workshop but instead will provide an environment where you can work on your own project independently or with others. Bring some ideas of your own and be willing to help others. Let's hang out and learn things together!
Low on ideas? Here are some suggestions:
You missed a previous MaptimeSEA event (http://maptimesea.github.io/) and want to work on one of the previously-presented tutorials.
You've been wanting to map a certain area of OpenStreetMap but haven't found the time or have questions.
You are stuck on a mapping problem and want some advice.
You want to learn the basics of a particular tool. There are tons of tutorials (http://maptime.io/lessons-resources/) online you can do.
Target Audience: anyone interested in learning about open source mapping. Beginners encouraged!
Be sure to bring your laptop!
Where to go:
Someone will be waiting to let you in by the main entrance of the King County building. If nobody is there, please call 206-477-4593 and we'll send someone down.
There is absolutely no reason why this can't be your first Maptime! Check out our website (http://maptimesea.github.io/) (and tutorials) if you want to learn more about what we've done in the past.
