Celebrate GeoAwareness Week: Data Normalization and Classification Workshop!

UBC is holding a few mappy events during GeoAwareness Week! Join June Skeeter, Ph.D. candidate from UBC's Department of Geography, for this informational data normalization and classification workshop. This lecture-style workshop will focus on police violence data from Canada and the United States, and emphasize the importance of data normalization and show how different data classification methods impact the ways we perceive information.
