MArcaders: Arcade Enjoyers Meetup - 04/03/26

Welcome to our MArcaders meetup!
This is an event for video game enthusiasts in the Manchester area to meet new people, make friends and play some video games. We also have a high score competition.

Attending
This is a free event with no limit on number of attendees though meetup limits us to 10 "tickets" because I only have a free account atm. If there are no slots left please still come!

I'll grab a table near the bar for a while from 6pm so I'll be easy to find, after which I will be off playing games. I will post a selfie and and be wearing a UV wristband so I should be easy to spot.

Once you arrive come and find me and let me know who you are. I'll take your name for our attendee-only Fluxer chat server, give you your competition tokens (see below) and also a wristband that will allow MArcaders to spot each other. Feel free to take it off if you need to take a break and would rather not be approached.

No worries if you're running late or need to leave early: there's no pressure to be there for the whole time. Some people are likely to stay later or arrive earlier as well.

Competition
For a bit of fun we'll be having a high score contest on Tapper: the classic throw-beer-at-people-and-they-get-thrown-backwards-by-the-sheer-force-and-sometimes-ladies-dance experience. Each attendee will receive TWO (😲💰) free tokens good for two attempts, though you can always buy more tokens and have as many goes as you like. Also, you could use the tokens to play something else come oooooon... 🥺

Just take a photo of your score and show it to me before 9pm. Medals for the top three scores!

Accessibility
NQ64 is only accessible via a set of steep stairs. NQ64 is an 18+ venue and you'll need photo ID to enter.

Rules
Be kind and be respectful. This is meant to be a group for good vibes so don't be a creep and don't be a bigot. No outside food or drink can be consumed in NQ64.
