What we’re about
The Maribyrnong River Rubbish Club is a group of like minded people who love our environment and want to make a difference.
We get together once a month to collect rubbish from along the banks of the Maribyrnong River. We focus on the Footscray, Kensington & Maribyrnong areas. Our Meetups are a wonderful opportunity to meet people with same interest, enjoy great conversation, get fresh air and light exercise. All this while contributing to an amazing cause.
Meetups take place the second Saturday of each month, with other dates on an ad hoc basis. We also participate in tree plantings and other environmental activities with local councils from time to time.
