Angel Island is aptly named, on a warm spring day it's a heavenly experience and a bicycle is the best way to see as much as possible of the place. There's a paved perimeter road, it's about a 5 mile loop and there's amazing views almost the whole way, We'll stop at every point of interest including Camp Reynolds, the Nike Missile Site, campgrounds and the historic immigration station that's been dubbed "Ellis Island West".

Bring a picnic lunch, there's lots of places along the way that have tables, shade and fantastic views. Bring a backpack with layers of clothing so you can adjust for changes in temperature, there's usually a windy side of the island and a sunny side of the island.

There's plenty of parking at 1555 Tiburon Bld. between the CVS and Chase Bank, it's $5 for all day. We'll meet at the loading dock at 21 Main St. tickets are $19 round trip and can be purchased online or at the dock.
