What we’re about
This book club is for women in the Marin area who enjoy memoirs and literary nonfiction, focusing on true stories that are beautifully written and rooted in lived experience.
We'll focus primarily on memoir, with occasional selections of literary (or narrative) nonfiction: books that read like literature and linger for their voice, insight, and emotional depth rather than for plot or instruction. Our choices tend to favor strong writing and thoughtful perspectives.
Conversations are relaxed, reflective, and curious. This is a welcoming space for women who love good writing and meaningful discussion, without pressure to perform or analyze.
We meet both online and in person in Marin, depending on the book and the group’s preferences. This will be a new group so let's figure it out together!
