Sailing Adventures in the British Virgin Islands

Details

At our next Meetup we'll share information on an awesome adventure sailing destination widely known as one of the best cruising grounds on earth - the British Virgin Islands.

It’s easy to see why a bunch of us were excited to plan a voyage in the BVI! Crystal clear warm turquoise waters, rainbows of tropical fish, white-sand beaches fringed with swaying palms, beach bars, snorkeling, scuba diving, incredible rock formations, island night life, spectacular sunsets, and of course world class resorts.

At this Meetup we'll discuss sailing conditions for the BVI in and out of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, voyage planning, weather, local charts, provisioning, charter yachts and captains, air travel, activities for singles and families, island culture, and other information anyone would like to share. We can take a look at planning a BVI Adventure Sailing trip for a date that works for everyone, as well as take a look at jumping aboard a beautiful Sunsail 444 catamaran that is already booked to depart Tortola, June 23 - July 1.

As always, the goal of our group is to support each other with our individual plans for adventure sailing to exotic tropical locales - so bring your dream voyages and let’s make a plan! Previous adventures sailed the South Pacific through Vava’u Tonga and Bora Bora French Polynesia - totally awe-inspiring experiences. Let’s help each other make the next dream destination a reality. BVI here we come! We can start the Meetup at Bluewater Sailing and then walk over to SALT Lounge at the Marina del Rey Hotel for some food and drink afterward. Can’t wait! See you there!
