Movie and Game Night at Marine Park Coffee (Friendsgiving Edition)
Details
The Marine Park Young Adults Association is thrilled to announce our next Fall Movie & Game Night taking place on Friday, November 21st at Marine Park Coffee (3411 Avenue S). Doors open at 5:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to grab a cozy seat, mingle, and dive into a wide selection of board and card games before the movie begins around 6:30 PM. Whether you’re looking to relax after a long week, meet new people, or simply enjoy a fun evening in good company, this is the perfect community hangout for young adults across southern Brooklyn.
This month’s featured film is the classic courtroom comedy My Cousin Vinny, starring Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei. Known for its sharp humor, unforgettable characters, and quintessential Brooklyn energy, it’s a timeless favorite that guarantees plenty of laughs. As always, we’ll be transforming Marine Park Coffee into a cozy, cinema-style lounge for the night — complete with popcorn, water, and your favorite games to set the mood before the show.
The event is open to young adults ages 18–35 and includes a $5 cover fee at the door, which helps cover the cost of renting the space and includes complimentary popcorn and water. Soft drinks will also be available for just $1 each, thanks to the generous partnership of Marine Park Coffee.
No matter where you’re from — Marine Park, Mill Basin, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Midwood, Sheepshead Bay, Flatbush, Canarsie, or nearby neighborhoods — you’re invited to join us for this inclusive evening of connection, laughter, and community spirit. The Marine Park Young Adults Association (MPYAA) is dedicated to creating spaces where young adults can meet new friends, share experiences, and build a stronger sense of belonging through social, cultural, and volunteer events year-round.
To RSVP, visit MPYAA.org and find the event on Partiful. For any questions or additional details, please contact Sam, President of MPYAA, at sam@marineparkyoungadults.org.
