Global Big Day *MOVED TO TUSCAWILLA PARK

*5/9 update: The Ocala Wetland Recharge Park has unexpectedly closed, so we're moving this event to Tuscawilla Park.

Every May across the world birders attempt to see as many species as possible in their area on the same day. This is known as the Global Big Day. Global Big Day is an annual celebration of the birds around you.

We will be kicking the day off with a guided birding walk at one of our top hotspots.

After our Global Big Day walk many of us may continue birding multiple places, and by the end of the day to see how many species can be recorded in Marion county!

This walk is free and the public is welcome to attend!
