The Psychology of Money

Details

Dear friends, on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 we'll be discussing the New York Times best-selling book the Psychology of Money. And we'll be sharing our Top 10 Takeaways.

The talk will be short--TED TALK style--followed by a longer discussion period. I'll be joined by mortgage broker Tim Lyon an avid reader like myself.

If you haven't read the book, that's fine. We've read it for you! Come ready to ask questions and learn different approaches to managing your money. And new ways of thinking about money.

Talk Purpose:
The purpose of this talk to flesh out the Top 10 takeaways from Morgan Housel's bestseller, "The Psychology of Money." This will improve your decision-making framework around money so you get better financial outcomes in your life.

Second, this talk will familiarize you the ways in which we self-sabotage ourselves with money. I've done it to myself many times, and I'd rather you avoid my mistakes and the mistakes of others. I'll share examples the day of.

(Sorry, no Realtors or Mortgage Brokers. :) Thanks for understanding.)

Talk Agenda:
- Top 10 Takeaways from the Psychology Of Money
