Details

With the ‘Less Healthy Food & Drink’ (LHF) online ad ban set to come into force this October, many restaurant brands are still unsure how these changes will affect their marketing strategies—especially online.
Join us in Brighton for a deep dive into the legislation, what it means for your brand, and how to adapt your marketing before the changes hit.

### Why trust us?:

🎤 The panel will be hosted by Trapeze Media founder, Kitty Newman. Trapeze Media have spent the last 9 years working with hosptiality brands of all sizes, strategising and managing online activations. She and her team have been considering the best ways to look at this huge change tothe sector and will help you see the opportunities.
🔹 Jim Cathcart – Jim joined UKHospitality as Policy Director in April 2018. His role is to identify and influence public policy impacting the sector across a wide range of areas. This includes current work around digital platforms, copyright and competition, tourism, food safety, nutrition and health policy.
🔹 Milan Patel - Senior Legal Counsel at Tesco Retail Media - Milan is joining to answer questions you have on how these new laws and legislation impact your business. He will discuss the types of guard rails to put in place, issues to consider and perhaps bring a bit of colour to the grey areas.
🔹 One more panelist to be confirmed: we want to bring a creative mind onto the panel, we will announce who that will be in the coming weeks.

### We'll look at:

What the regulation change is.
What is covered, paid social and digital media is included - what will or won't you be allowed to advertise? eg. Pizza will be classed as a HFSS product - how does a pizza brand now tackle advertising?
We'll look at who's legally responsible for getting it right, the brand or the agency.
The question mark on whether even brand messaging is allowed - at the time of writing (April 2025) this is still a question mark.

This is your chance to ask questions, hear from those in the know, and ensure your team is ready for October.
Spaces are limited to 40 —buy now to secure your spot.

100% of the £5 ticket will go to hospitality charity Only A Pavement Away if you prefer not to make a donation please message and we can arrange you a ticket free of charge.
