Language Exchange Lounge for English speakers learning Japanese and Japanese speakers learning English!（日本語の説明は、英語の説明の後にあります。）

An international couple (Aussie husband and Japanese wife) and a bunch of keen language exchange lovers are meeting up on Saturdays near JR Omori station, Tokyo!

It’s a lot of fun to meet and communicate with local Japanese people, as well as people from all over the world. You can learn so much!

The language exchange lounge hosted by Mark House is an ”International Third Place to belong” in Japan, outside school/work and home.

It can be your own ”secret base" in a hidden living room near Omori station, where you can enjoy language exchange as well as a relaxing chillout space with your international friends.

[Time/時間： 2:30ー4:30]

• 3:30-4:30　Japanese Conversation Cafe

[About Mark House Language Exchange Lounge]

• A qualified English and Japanese teacher hosts each session.
• Seat change every 30 minutes
• We welcome not only native English speakers, but also English speaking international participants - we have people from all over the world, who love talking about their diverse interests and experiences.
• You can feel comfortable talking in either pairs or small groups of three to four.
• New participants and even those who do not feel so confident in their target language yet can take it easy and enjoy our Aussie-style relaxed atmosphere.
• We occasionally hold special cultural exchange events, such as: Japanese Tea Ceremony, Picture Book Reading, Manzai (Japanese standup comedy), and Musical Performances.

[Participation Fee]
１session (2 hours/2 時間）：1000 yen at the venue

• Bring your own food/snacks and nonalcoholic beverages.
• You can easily buy food and drinks at the convenience store across the street.

• 2nd Floor, 1-7-1 Sanno Otaku Tokyo, above Sanno Kappa Sushi, YuuJyoo Building : A few minutes from Omori station

[How to get there]

• JR Omori Station（Keihin Tohoku Line）Sanno North Exit.
• Turn right towards Oimachi, and go straight to the Family Mart convenience store on Ikegami Street. Cross the street at the traffic lights, and you will find Sanno Kappa Sushi, next to a hair salon called "Ork".
• Go down the narrow alley on the left side of the building, and the entrance door is on the right. Just go up the stairs to 'Living Omori' on the second floor.

オーストラリア人と日本人国際結婚カップルと、ランエクを楽しむ世界じゅうから来た参加者たちが、土曜日の午後、東京都のJR大森駅そばのラウンジに大集合！

Mark House主催のランゲージエクスチェンジ ラウンジは、学校や職場、家庭以外の"インターナショナルな第三の居場所"！

大森駅の自分たちだけの”隠れたリビングルーム”にある”秘密基地”で、国際的な仲間たちと、ランエクだけでなく、そのリラックスした雰囲気を楽しんでください。

[Mark House Language Exchange Loungeの特徴]

• 有資格英語教師と日本語教師がホスティング
• ３０分ごとの席替えだから、色々な人とお話しできます。
• ネイティブ英語話者だけでなく、英語を話す国際的な参加者も大歓迎！
• 1 対１や、３、４人での小さなグループでの会話
• はじめての参加者も、オーストラリアスタイルのリラックスした雰囲気の中ですぐに溶け込めます。
• お茶会や、絵本の読み聞かせ、漫才、楽器演奏などの文化交流も行っています。

At the venue 会場にて：１session (2 hours/2 時間）：1000円

• 食べ物やノンアルコールのお飲み物は持参可能です 。
• 会場前のコンビニがあります。

東京都大田区山王１－７－１　友常ビル (山王カッパ鮨の２階 /大森駅数分）

[行き方]

京浜東北線、大森駅、山王北口を出て、右に曲がり、池上通りをまっすぐ行くと、ファミリーマートがあります。信号を渡ると、美容院「オルカ」の横に、「山王　かっぱ鮨」があり、会場はその２階です。左側の細い通路のドアから入り、２階においでください。

1. 席に限りがあるため、キャンセルの場合は、必ず「不参加」を押してください。Waiting List の方が参加することができます。
2. 急用や体調の変化以外の、前日、当日のキャンセルを避けていただけると嬉しいです。
3. イベント中に撮影した写真は、お顔にぼかしを入れて宣伝用に使用されます。ぼかし入りでもお写真にうつりたくない場合は、イベント開始前にお知らせください。
