Welcome to this informal Meetup! This group is for professionals and enthusiasts who are passionate about the world of marketing, branding, public relations, communications, reputation management or related topics. Whether you are a seasoned industry vet or just starting out in your career, this is your opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in a fun informal environment.
I think SD and the surrounding SOCAL area are lacking a community like this and I'm going to build one. One that provides good networking opportunities in a fun, relaxed, friendly environment. It's not so much about talking shop, it's about getting to know like-minded people in the San Diego area.
All industries, whether you work in marketing or related areas, or sell marketing and related areas services, you are welcome to request to join. The first MeetUp will be on Thurs Sept 26th @ Drift Bar inside the Hyatt Regency from 5.30pm

By signing up to attend this group event you agree to the following terms:
1. If you can't go for whatever reason after signing up, please take your name of the attending list. Some venues have limited space, so if you sign up to attend and don't show up without amending your RSVP, it will be noted as you may have cost someone on the waitlist a space.
2. If you show up with a big group unannounced without letting the organizer know beforehand (particularly if space has been reserved and numbers are limited) you risk being removed from the group
3. No promoting other events on the message board unless you contact the organizer directly
4. Be respectful of other attendees. Don't be rude or harass anyone or you will be removed from the group.
5. The organizer reserves the right to remove members for any reason.
6. Liability Disclosure - The sole function of the organizers in this group is to arrange a place and time for each event. Each person (including guest members) who signs up "yes" for an event is responsible for his or her own safety, and transportation for each event. When you (and your guests) sign up for this group you agree the organizer is NOT liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you or your property, arising directly or as a consequence from a group activity.
7. There are no membership dues to be a part of this group. It does take money to pay for this site, and I gladly accept donations :)
8. Please do share the group link with marketing friends, colleagues etc. The aim is to continually grow this event into something special in San Diego.
