It’s 2022. We all know on-line dating is a disaster. The anonymity it affords is abused, everyone with every “goal” is more or less mashed together based purely on what someone enters in their profile & search criteria, then expected to sort through a pile of needles for one particular needle.
Because there is no direct feedback mechanism, no “reviews” section, no reward for good behavior nor cost for bad behavior, the marketplace breaks down. Too much anonymity in this type of endeavor is not a blessing.
Dating apps also profit from your PII and their vested interest is to keep you a client… is that your goal too? If not, then are they really helping you?
My goal is to create a new model for finding a contented relationship which harnesses the benefits of modern technology without giving up the time tested benefits of traditional practices.
Our purpose is to create and curate a group with all the following characteristics:
- Populated by serious, ltr relationship minded people who have a vested interest in theirs and the groups success and reputation.
- A group that doesn’t profit by creating addicts and then using their addiction or their PII for profit.
- Members who have been vetted as real people.
- Meetup events that are invitation only to ensure they remain a place where members can be comfortable and get to know each other without interference from others intent on playing destructive games.
- A group with rules, decorum, boundaries and expectations which will be enforced.
- Access to an invitation only Discord where members can connect with each other at their leisure, share resources and knowledge, chat, trade funny dog memes, you know, important stuff!
