Funding Project for a simple web controlled robot

This will be a simple meeting to fund a single robot that is controlled by an equally simple web interface. The purpose is to find out how much it cost to purchase a very simple but functional robot up and running and controlled by a web interface. Eventually the goal will be to get several of these robots working so this is more of a proof of concept meeting. We want to stay under 100 bucks per robot if possible .. use existing technologies and preferably a boxed product. Then we'll have someone try and control it.

We will have refreshments pizza, Coke, water and ice for everyone that shows up.

The goal of this is to determine what it costs for a single unit of production and perfect that process just like the show "The Profit." Once we get a working prototype then we can add more robots. To fund more robots we can have either competitions or try and build something with the robots on a video farm.

Also to fund the project we were thinking about having some brainstorming sessions like Mars car wash. Kick Starter projects or other ideas.
