Talk outline: The talk will look at what tomorrow's marketer, which of course means today's marketer, is focusing on. Ross will look at the principles of Engagement Marketing and show how marketers are executing on this with marketing-automation solutions.
About the speaker: Ross Macrae is a data professional with over 20 years of experience helping clients gain insight from their customers’ demographic, attitudinal, transactional and behavioural data. He has worked with some of the largest global brands, including American Express, P&G, Ford, Vodafone, HSBC and Ebay. He recently joined Marketo where he helps digital marketers create automated, data-driven, individually tailored engagement campaigns.
Talk 2:
'A Media Utopia – The ability for consumers to make decisions around their own media is closer than you think, and is a good thing for both marketers and publishers
Talk outline: Despite celebrating its 21st birthday last month, the banner ad had never been under greater threat. How can we change the traditional banner ad from a necessary annoyance into something that adds real value to consumers, advertisers, and publishers? This session looks how the consumer's relationship with digital advertising has evolved over the last 21 years, and the small but important change that's about to happen which will change digital marketing forever.'
About the speaker: Luke is the Commercial Director of PureProfile and heads up the Data & Insights side. Over the last eight years he has been a pivotal part of the evolution of Pureprofile’s groundbreaking technology and the new panel model. Luke is also a guitarist, surfer, lifesaver and former breakdancer, and is known for spinning on his head with varying degrees of success.
