Make new friends, enjoy live music, meet our Society volunteers, and visit support your Lake City, and surrounding Seattle area neighbors.

This is an all ages, family friendly community event located in the Lake City neighborhood of Seattle. We'll be showcasing martial arts demonstrations and information about the Society.

All ages are welcome and there is no cost to attend.

WHY A MEETUP GROUP?

We want to create a safe, welcoming, and diverse community of curious minded individuals to share in exploring the benefits of martial arts, Asian medicine, and related meditation, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, holistic health, and Chinese herbs through workshops, events, guest speakers, and book readings.

SAMMA Benevolent Society is on a mission to help bring the benefits of Martial Arts and Traditional Chinese Medicine to all people, especially those facing financial, mental, and physical hardship. They do this through scholarships and learning opportunities. The Society is 100% Volunteer Run and Operated. Every dollar donated to their Scholarship Program goes directly to support students and instructors so that they can continue their studies and continue to teach their craft.
