Mt Diablo Circumnavigation

Take a lap around Mt Diablo with the Veteran Riders!

The two-hour cruise will take us on a clockwise circumnavigation of Mt Diablo via part of Marsh Creek Rd and the rugged Morgan Territory Rd. We will stay roughly within posted speed limits, but all participants should have some degree of prior experience with curves. Officers of the Veteran Riders Motorcycle Club will lead this ride.

Note there will be NO GAS STOPS along this route. Arrive by 10:00 with 70 miles worth of fuel in your tank!

There will be a rest stop at Morgan Territory Regional Park. The ride will terminate at the Veteran-friendly Mike Hess Brewery in Walnut Creek around 12:30, where there are various options for lunch.

Participants MUST:
- Have a motorcycle (of any make) in safe working order and capable of speeds up to 70mph;
- Be present for a pre-ride briefing shortly before departure;
- Arrive with a full fuel tank;
- Be comfortable with pack-riding (staggered spacing is fine).
