Three Bridges Run
If you’ve got a bike and an itch to get it out on the road, please join us Sunday! We’ll be riding from Martinez to the East Brother Beer Company at Point Richmond, but taking the long way round. About an hour and a half of straight freeway, without our usual twisties. Officers of the Veteran Riders Motorcycle Club will lead this ride.
From Martinez, we’ll pass through the Caldecott, into San Francisco, and across the Golden Gate Bridge (free direction). After a quick jaunt up Highway 101 through Marin County, we’ll cross back over the bay and into Point Richmond. Riders may then choose to just relax with a cold beverage at the East Brother Beer Company, or continue a short distance further to visit the Red Oak Victory Ship or Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park.
This will be a 60-mile ride at normal freeway speeds with no anticipated midway stops. Please arrive at Martinez with a full tank of gas.
Participants MUST:
- Have a motorcycle (of any make) in safe working order and capable of speeds up to 75mph;
- Be present for a pre-ride briefing shortly before departure;
- Arrive with a full fuel tank;
- Be comfortable with pack-riding (staggered spacing is fine).
All riders, clubs, and riding groups welcome!
RSVPs are always appreciated.
