A group for like minded people who enjoy the great outdoors. We aim to inspire more people in the Central Goldfields to walk in natural areas for enjoyment, health, wellbeing and appreciation of the environment, either during day hikes or multi day overnight pack carrying.
We are affiliated with Bushwalking Victoria https://bushwalkingvictoria.org.au/ and thus membership to attend club events requires an annual individual or family membership fee to cover insurance.
The CGB&HC Inc has a monthly day hike held the last Saturday of the month. All hikes are listed in the Meetup App. Your first hike is a 'try out' and then, for subsequent hikes, a yearly fiscal (July to June) membership is required to cover insurance and said Bushwalking Vic affiliation fees ($20 ea or $25 family). Each hike has a voluntary (donation) fee of $5.-
